According to some data, the annual sales volume of cutting tools in China is about 14.5 billion yuan, of which the proportion of carbide cutting tools is less than 25%, but the carbide cutting tools required by domestic manufacturing industry have accounted for more than 50% of the cutting tools. This blind production has seriously failed to meet the growing demand of domestic manufacturing industry for carbide cutting tools, thus forming a vacuum state in the middle and high-end market , eventually occupied by foreign enterprises.

  The added value of products is low. In 2007, of the 16500 tons of cemented carbide produced in China, 4500 tons were used for cutting tool production, which is equivalent to that in Japan. But the value of the tool is only 800 million US dollars, far less than 2.5 billion US dollars in Japan, which fully shows that the overall production level of domestic carbide efficient tools is still quite far behind that of foreign countries. Therefore, on the premise that domestic enterprises can not meet the market demand, the demand of manufacturing industry has to rely on a large number of imports to solve. According to some data, the annual growth rate of sales of main foreign businessmen in China's medium and high-end cutting tool market has reached 30%, which has exceeded the annual growth level of domestic cutting tools.

  Service is not in line with international standards

  The road of enterprise informatization is blocked

However, some Chinese enterprises may not accept the interviews and reports of the media due to "shyness" or some scruples, and finally miss the promotional products and enterprises "Free" opportunity.

  Serious waste of resources

  According to some data, in 2007, China produced about 80000 tons of high-speed steel, accounting for 40% of the total global output. However, due to the lack of accurate market supply and demand information, a large number of high-speed steel cutting tools were produced in excess, which had to be sold at a low price, resulting in the low efficiency of a large number of cutting tool manufacturers, and also a serious waste of precious tungsten, molybdenum and other rare resources.

  Similarly, China's annual output of cemented carbide is 16500 tons, accounting for about 40% of the world's total output. However, the output of cutting blades with added value in cemented carbide products is only over 3000 tons, accounting for only 20%. Thus, on the one hand, the supply of hard alloy tools urgently needed in China is insufficient, on the other hand, the precious hard alloy resources are not fully utilized.

  For 80000 tons of high-speed steel and 16500 tons of cemented carbide, the total sales volume of cutting tools finally produced only accounts for 15% of the global total, which fully reflects the extensive development of the industry and the severity of resource waste.

  Industry insiders agree that with the rapid development of China's economy in the past 30 years, the manufacturing industry will become more powerful, and the market space will be as broad as that in Europe and the United States. Therefore, Chinese enterprises should start from the long-term interests, cultivate their internal skills in an orderly manner, seek breakthroughs, grow bigger and stronger as soon as possible, and finally "get the moon before the water".
